What People Want From Ebook Readers

The reading realm was totally changed since the dawn of e-book readers. The King among them all, Kindle, was loved by many from the day it was released in the year 2007. Today, with the dawn of tablet PCs and other e-book reading devices, it is surprising to know that the Kindle hasn’t been dethroned in its category. With a total of three generations of e-book readers now, people still want more and new with the rumoured up and coming new Kindle— the Kindle 4.

Because these times, most gadgets have already been made with touchscreen interfaces, people are interested in seeing their Kindle devices in a 100% touchscreen interface as well. Also, even though Kindle patrons have already been used to the grey texts and dull backgrounds, it would be a pleasing change if Amazon brings a new Kindle that is in color. It would totally add spice in reading. Plus, story books for kids can be more interesting with colored pictures. The technologies are just around the corner and Amazon in fact has them within reach so everybody is hoping that their wishes would come true regarding the specs of Kindle 4. Although people have been wishing grand additions, they still want their Kindle devices to be simple and most of all to be just an e-book reader; no more no less. Frankly, even though tablet PCs are very diverse when it comes to functions, Kindle patrons want the Kindle to stick that way. The simplicity of the device have caused millions to love Amazon’s Kindle.

With Amazon being a very secretive company, nobody knows as to what the Kindle 4 would look like until now. Seems everybody will be challenged to wait till its final release. For now, let us just enjoy the perks that our Kindle predecessors came with. Patience is a virtue as they say it!
