There are newer machines that make unbelievable clear images of infants in the womb, for instance. These new machines will require techs to operate them, and the people who will be best poised to move into those jobs are people who are already trained in the field. And once you have been trained to use the newer machines, you skills will be in even greater demand, so there will be even more opportunities available to you. All in all, this seems to be an excellent career choice.
