Making Money From Blogging — Why You Must Back Link

If you want to learn how to make money with a blog, you must master back linking.  If you are not currently working on back linking for your blog, then you need to stop what you are doing right now and put some effort in this area.  It is critical to your success.  Here are some of  my top tips on why you must make back linking part of your blogging process:

1.  Your new blog is unknown --  Making money from blogging requires your blog to get a steady stream of traffic to it on a daily basis.  When your blog is new, it is "unknown" to the search engines.  This is not a good thing, and you need to take steps to get your blog "discovered".  This is where back linking comes in.  You will get links back to your blog pages so the search engines start to know your blog exists.  You need to do this now.

2.  You need "today" traffic --  You are going to have to get some traffic going to your blog right away.  I call this "today" traffic.  When you put articles up on top article directories, you will get back links to your blog posts.  You will also get a small amount of traffic from people clicking on the links your provide in the articles your are writing.  This will help put your blog "on the map", and will get some some of the early traffic your blog really needs.

3.  You really need "tomorrow" traffic --  Once your blog gets noticed by the search engines, you need more "votes" from other back linking articles to let the search engines know your blog is starting to gain popularity.  The more of these back links that you generate, the more the search engines will come to visit.  Over time, you will start to get some real natural traffic from the search engine.  I call this "tomorrow" traffic because you get it tomorrow from the work you do today.
