How Lil Boosie Makes Contributions

Lil Boosie is best known for his street rhymes and his ability to relate to the streets. After being featured on the albums of other artists, Lil Boosie made a name for his own in the streets and has in recent years begun to experience mainstream success. He raps about the struggles he's been through, the girlfriends he's had and how the streets are always talking. What many people may not know though is how much more Lil Boosie gives to the community besides just music.

In 2001, Lil Boosie surprised his community by buying several bicycles for random children for the holiday season. In all he spent $40,000 to $50,000 on toys striving to make each holiday a little brighter for the kids of his community. Lil Boosie tells his story through his music and in turn increases his fan base because his lyrics are so raw and real. I personally am a fan and listening to what Lil Boozie has to say helps me better understand what the people in my community have to deal with everyday and this motivates me to aspire to contribute more in life.

I someday want to have children of my own, and the things Lil Boosie raps about in his music symbolize the everyday struggles for young black men and women in America. I don't want my children to have to worry about racial profiling. I don't want my children to feel like they have to sell drugs to have the finer things in life. I don't want my children to feel like having the finer things in life are all that life has to offer. I want my children to understand that no matter what you do in life, you should always look to help others improve their lives. Lil Boosie has six children of his own and I'm sure he wants the same for his youngsters, which is why he is setting a good example.
