Giving People Flowers: A Good Way of Recognizing a Co-worker or Friend

When it comes to work, recognition of a job that has been done well is very important. As humans it is only normal to appreciate and be appreciated in return. This is very important especially for those people in the managerial and supervisory positions where they handle some people. One of the best ways to say “Great job done” or “Thank you for a job well done” is through giving flowers. Giving flowers as a gift or a token of appreciation will definitely be the best way to express a person’s gratitude and appreciation to a co-worker or subordinate if the person is in a superior position.

Flowers often express a thousand words. They are not only given to say “I love you,” but it can also be given to a co-worker to let them know that they are a valuable member of the organization they are into. Aside from bouquet of flowers, a basket of fruits or goodies may also be given. There are also some companies that instead of giving a bouquet of beautiful flowers, a beautiful flower plant in a nice pot or vase of roses are given as tokens of appreciation.

Aside from showing appreciation and gratitude, sending flowers or giving them in person can also be used as a means of encouraging people to do a certain task well. This will definitely make someone a good leader or manager. Well, as always flowers seem to be the best gift nature has ever given in order to make relationships closer even at business.

Obviously, flowers have been developed into one of the most common tokens of appreciation given in the corporate world. In fact, it is usually given as beautiful flower arrangement as a means of saying “thank you,” “congratulations,” “keep it up” and a lot more. So never underestimate the power of flowers because it can also make a difference even in the corporate world.
