Email Marketing 101
I've been advising people on various subjects in the last few years. One thing that people have been increasingly been asking me about however, is how to build a mailing list. because of his (And the fact that I have built quite a few lists in my time) I decided to write a guide on email marketing. Today, I will be sharing some of the things I have added to that guide in short format.
The reason I am doing this is because that guide is quite lengthy. Not every one wants to read through it all, and would rather just have the highlights. So here they are, in a much more compact report.
First of all, you need to collect as many targeted subscribers as possible. The keyword here is targeted, if they aren't targeted they won't be much use to your business so don't just get subscribers for the sake of it.
Second of all, you need to build up a relationship with your subscribers. Many people think people are just subscribing to your list to be sold to. This really isn't the case, if they thought they were going to get bombarded with sales pitches then most people would never sign up to your list. Similarly, as soon as they realise that is the case most likely they will come off it double speed.
But why not keep these people on for longer? By building a relationship with them they will stay with you for a good while to come. During this time, you can sneak in a few promotions and make some sales. People won't mind because they know and trust you already. They will probably trust you to offer them good products as well, so they will buy more things through you.
These are some important email marketing tips that you can try out yourself.
