Designs for Beach Wedding Cakes

Beach wedding cakes can be very casual. It can be just as expensive as a more traditional and elegant cake. However, you're going to venture into a little bit of problem with this because oftentimes whenever you go with a theme it can kind of remain people of a birthday party. You may just want to choose a more elegant beach theme. In this case, you can really go for more of a coral inspired piece. The color may be a little bit bright so again sticking with white and ivory but just focusing on that textual and sculptural elements of this piece makes all the difference.

You may just use this very subtly. For instance this could be your color inspiration. Instead of a traditional white cake not why not go with a soft blue? This can help you keep within the adage of “Something old something new something borrowed something blue.” The blue can be a wedding cake. This can be the inspiration piece for your entire wedding color palette. You really don't have to just use one color on your cake. You don't need to go with really over the top themes if you want sophisticated sweet sixteen cakes or modern wedding cakes. Instead be inspired by a beach feeling with a much more elegant looking cake.

However, you might really want to play around with a lot of details. You can find a lot of pastry makers who can recreate the look of shells and coral. However, you may just want to have these really dusted with a little bit of shimmer. This is going to keep them more elegant looking. It might not look realistic. However, sometimes airbrushed pieces can be more appropriate for birthdays. You could even go with an all white cake but instead of the traditional piping you could have a lot of shells around it. This still ensures that it's appropriate for your event.
